MMORPG
Do you like collecting achievements? Do you want to put together a shiny outfit? Do you enjoy challenging combat? If you’d like a pretty solid, helpful community with a twist of map-wide boss action, GuildWars 2 might be for you. It’s probably one of the best implementations of world/pvp combat, mounts and exploration i’ve ever seen in an MMO. There are free-to-play accounts to give it a test drive!

Action Adventure
This is really an action-adventure game, even if it feels a little childlike. It’s super-cute and light, for such a dark themed, action packed, combat game. I completely enjoyed the story and character progression. Also, the Rots are, of course, adorable and you get to earn them cute outfits to boot!

Space Adventure
By all account, No Man's Sky has a long and initially ill-fated beginning. With continuous updates (free with purchase of the base game), you'll always have something to do and new, procedurally generated biomes to visit.
